Welcome to my personal blog.
My story is probably not all that different from yours. For the most part, this blog is about whatever catches my interest at any given moment. The overarching themes that seem to weave themselves through what I write typically involve embracing simplicity, enjoying life, broadening your perspective, and chasing after what it means to be a husband/father/man. There will likely be the occasional piece of random poetry or prose thrown in there as well, simply because.
I love meeting people and discovering new things so by all means, drop me a line and please don’t hesitate to let me know what you think!
Hey, Ben: enjoyed your Morning Routines article and love your blog site!
Thanks Edward!
Hi,Ben,We are top one shoe/leather care producer in shanghai,China. our shoe polish is as good as Saphir and Tarrago, would you interest to discuss more about any possible cooperation with us?
Greetings. I would definitely be interested in seeing more about your products. Send me an email at ben@benhulet.com with some links and info and I’ll check it out. Thanks!
Hey Ben! I have been following the Urban Poser the last couple years- and have just loved it. I stumbled upon your blog today though and I instantly thought- he would so be friends with my husband! Typical wife thought, of course. I’m definitely going to be passing your blog on to him. He too loves coffee (that’s probably an extreme understatement), loves eating (especially those cinnamon rolls y’all have posted), loves to write, and also he does love style- when he can- we are working on a church planter’s salary, so he pretends that he doesn’t love it until he gets Christmas/birthday money! Looking forward to reading more from your blog!
Nice to meet you Emily! And glad you enjoyed the blog. Yours looks fantastic! I think you’re probably right about your husband and I. Interestingly enough, both Jenni and I grew up in church planting families and have spent a good portion of our marriage serving as worship leaders. We love Nashville so maybe if we make it out that way we can meet and grab some lunch. Anyway, have a great day!
Thank you for the compliment Ben!- so encouraging for me. How fun that you both came from church planting families- must provide a unique (and good- I hope for the sake of our future kids) experience to share. My husband actually started out as a worship leader and then somewhere along the way church planting became the dream.
We would love to grab lunch if y’all make it to Nashville. There are so many cool local paleo-friendly/allergy friendly places to eat around here- one that recently opened is literally in a tree house. Shoot us an email if you start to make plans to visit or just happen to be in town. coconut.contentment@gmail.com
All the best! Have a great evening!
